Perhaps better known as IFA World! Through our two events: A Meeting of Minds Advisory Distributors and Winning Advisers, we have developed a vital understanding of the issues affecting the engine of financial advice. In April 2018, Owen James Events launched Winning Advisers – the Regional Roadshow, with the aim to widen the opportunity for independently spirited financial advisory firms across the country to do better business.
Owen James Events are thoroughly embedded in IFA world. As you will no doubt agree, the RDR has encouraged this part of the industry to share best practice and understanding of the huge number of changes which have swept through during the last eight years. And if that were not enough, the industry has had to weather this change with one of the most prolonged recessions ever.
Now that the storms are subsiding to some extent, new challenges are emerging from the recent pension legislation and its complexities. Additionally, there's a notable increase in client confidence, leading to a growing trend of do-it-yourself approaches. So as you can imagine the conversations never really dry up!
