  Paul Holbrook is a former Financial Services MD, author of ‘What Are You Doing? – The Uncomfortable Truth About How You Waste Time at Work’, LinkedIn Top Voice, and founder of Diary Detox Limited, a company he created with a simple purpose in mind – to create a world of better led people. Having spent 20-years in fast moving technology change, he got fed up hearing managers say they didn’t have time to manage and left the fat pay-check to create the Diary Detox® – a method he designed to give managers at least a day back in their calendar, every week. As a speaker, Paul has wowed audiences of global organisations – Microsoft, Panasonic, Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, etc. – giving them eye-opening insights into where their time goes and offering crazily simple techniques that improve their productivity, leadership, and wellbeing. He’s even spoken live from the trading floor of the London Metals Exchange.

  Alex Atherton

  Experienced educator, executive coach and leadership team coach

  Alex Atherton is an experienced educator, executive coach and leadership team coach. He worked in education for 25 years, over half of which was spent as a secondary school headteacher in large inner-London comprehensives. On appointment he was the youngest secondary school head in the country. He has also led a pupil referral unit, and has worked with both primary schools and further education. Alex Atherton runs a leadership development consultancy which supports individual clients and executive teams from a range of industries. He is highly passionate about the value of professional development and in empowering others to overcome their leadership challenges. He specialises in working with senior leaders, supporting them to think big, shatter glass ceilings, achieve beyond their wildest expectations and work together with impact they did not think possible. Clients include CEOs and leaders from the public, private and voluntary sectors.

  Nick Hulme

  Head of Department, Financial Conduct Authority

  Nick joined the FCA in 2019 after a decade in financial stability and prudential supervision roles at the FSA, Bank of England and Prudential Regulation Authority. He has also worked in private office for two Ministers of State at HM Treasury. Prior to this role in Consumer Investments, he worked in the FCA’s Financial Resilience Department. He holds an MBA Dip from Said Business School, Oxford University and BA Hons in Financial Management and Italian from Royal Holloway, University of London. He is also a publicly elected volunteer Governor of East Kent Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and previously a Treasurer Trustee at two sports charities.
